This Privacy Policy describes how Blurly ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use the Blurly Chrome extension.

1. Data Collection and Usage

We do not collect, transmit, or sell any of your personal data.

Blurly is designed to be a privacy-first application that runs entirely locally on your device.

• No Remote Servers: We do not have a backend server. We do not track your browsing history, clicks, or any other interactions.
• Local Processing: All blurring logic and rule creation happens directly within your browser.

2. Local Storage

We use chrome.storage.local to improve your experience. This data is stored strictly on your local machine and is never synced to our servers (as we don't have any).

• Preferences: We store your settings (e.g., whether "Blur Mode" is currently toggled ON or OFF).
• Saved Rules: We store the CSS selectors of the elements you have chosen to blur so they remain blurred when you refresh the page.

3. Permissions

We request the minimum permissions necessary for the extension to function:

• activeTab: To interact with the current page when you select elements to blur.
• Storage: To save your blur rules locally.
• Host Permissions (<all_urls>): To allow the tool to work on any website you visit, as users may need to blur content on various different domains.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics (like Google Analytics) or tracking pixels.
